Report any issue with the development or construction works to Barratt Redrow, by emailing customer service at southmidlands@newhomecare.co.uk or by contacting the sales office at darwingreen2@barratthomes.co.uk.
Note that there is a Planning Officer drop-in at the Darwin Green Community Rooms every first Wednesday of the month (with occasional variations, check the calendar on the home page), in the morning. You can ask your questions to the Planning Officer who ensures that the development’s construction goes according to the approved plans. Barratt Redrow’s representatives or local councillors sometimes attend, too.

Community Development team
The Community Development team from Cambridge City Council organises a number of events in or around Darwin Green. You can email the team at communitydevelopment@cambridge.gov.uk.
Anti-social behaviour
If you witness any anti-social behaviour (ASB), please report it to the authorities. The police can take no action to improve the safety of the neigbourhood if they get no reports.

Report to the police
Report anti-social behaviour to the police online via the Cambridgeshire Constabulary website, or by phone on 999 (emergencies) or 101 (non-emergencies). See also Report a crime.
They take reports for behaviours such as:
- using intimidating behaviour or abusive language
- violence or threats of violence
- using or dealing drugs
- prostitution
- any criminal behaviour, such as shoplifting
- spitting, urinating or defecating in public
- drunken, rowdy behaviour, including fighting, shouting and swearing
- begging
- obstructing or accosting pedestrians, cyclists or other road users
- harassment of anyone
Report to Cambridge City Council
You can also report anti-social behaviour, as well as a number of other issues, on Cambridge City Council’s website or by phone: 01223 457000. The City Council take reports about bins management, food safety, fraud, parks, planning, streets, and more.
Here are some dedicated resources for specific topics:

Reporting environmental issues, including:
- Littering, fly tipping, graffiti
- Dangerous litter or bodily waste (such as needles, broken glass, blood, vomit, or faeces)

Reporting lost and stray dogs, and dog fouling, including:
- Uncontrolled dogs, for example resulting in fouling, dogs fighting or being aggressive to passers-by, constant barking
- Busking in a manner, which causes an obstruction, nuisance, or disturbance

Community Safety (ASB Team)
ASB officers within the Community Safety team deal with anti-social behaviour affecting Council properties and the wider community, including problems in public spaces. Cambridge City Council works in partnership with the police, other departments within the Council and external support agencies to help resolve ASB and crime, sharing information as appropriate and within the parameters of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
