Community facilities
Darwin Green has Community Rooms located in the Plaza (also known as Evolution Court) on Galton Road. Queries can be emailed to info.dgrooms@cambridge.gov.uk. The rooms are available for hire, see the City Council page for the rooms for details.
Other Community facilities nearby include Storey’s Field, William Collyn Community Centre and the Meadows Community Centre. There is a list of facilities across the city on the Council’s page for community centres.
Libraries
Along with what you might expect at your local library, they can also be a huge source of local information, knowledge, events and activities! Your closest library will be on Darwin Green itself, but has not opened yet. In the meantime, Darwin Green hosts regular visits from the Mobile Library.

Sports and leisure
Darwin Green will include a tennis court and football pitch as well as a sports pavilion.
There are also a wide range of sport and leisure facilities across the city, see the City Council’s webpage for sport and fitness facilities.
Parks and open spaces
In addition to the open spaces and play areas provided at Darwin Green, there are also other areas nearby including Eddington lakes and Jesus Green. Playgrounds include Eddington Avenue playground, Histon Road Recreation Ground and Girton Play area on Cambridge Road.
