Bins and recycling

All household and communal bins in Cambridge are collected by Cambridge City Council.

For individual household bins, please put your bins out at your nearest collection point or at the front of your property before 6 am.

Moving into a new home often causes additional waste such as boxes, cardboard etc. The normal bin collections will not take this waste away, so please dispose of it by taking it to a local recycling point. You can also arrange for bulky items to be collected. There is a charge for this service.
